A MYTHICAL LAND

BETWEEN THE SUN AND THE MOON

The Magic Flute is a timeless tale of truth, love, courage and discovery, following the journey of two young couples as they explore their own strengths and weaknesses and pass the tests of true love and friendship. As the twists and turns unfold, Prince Tamino receives a magic flute from the Queen of the Night and sets out to rescue her daughter Pamina from an evil priest. Betrayal, reprisals, deceptions and mayhem ensue, until love and the rays of the morning sun banish the forces of night and darkness forever. The opera is among the most elegant and charming written by Mozart and includes fiery stratospheric arias for the Queen of the Night and wonderfully comic scenes for the bird-catcher Papageno. A must see for the whole family.
