SEASON 1: ELEKTRA

Elektra is one of Western civilisation’s greatest stories of fanatical love and revenge. Elektra has seen her father murdered and she longs for justice. Strauss’ music rises to moments of incredible beauty and falls in moments of horror, as Elektra searches for a light in the darkness. Warning: It includes adult material which could cause offence to some audiences. For more information contact the Education Coordinator.

SEASON 2: LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR
  July 14, 17, 19, 21
Mid-Year School Holidays

This bel canto work is a seamless fusion of poetry and music, forged into melodic expression. The story of two feuding families is romantic and tragic. Lucia is in love with Edgardo, her brother’s enemy. Forced to marry another Lucia goes mad over the lover she has denied.

SEASON 3: MADAM BUTTERFLY
  October 23, 25, 27, 30, November 1, 3
