Live Mural Painting - Koolbardi wer Wardong

The legend of Koolbardi wer Wardong has carried for centuries, passed down from generation to generation and now this beautiful story has spread its wings and soared from the stage at His Majesty’s Theatre in a brand-new opera composed by Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse.

This bespoke mural will mark the celebration of rich, Western Australian storytelling as Koolbardi wer Wardong is retold on stage in traditional language, by local storytellers, creatives and performers. The mural's home in Georges Lane will provide a lasting legacy for this landmark work long after the curtain closes.
