Power, politics and destiny collide in Donizetti's Maria Stuarda.

Two of history's most formidable queens, Mary, Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I, are bound together by blood, ambition and fate. Their personal rivalry unfolds in a gripping battle of wills, where every word is a weapon and every silence carries devastating consequences.

Imprisoned and condemned, Mary faces her fate with extraordinary courage and unwavering dignity. As court intrigue deepens and loyalties are tested, two powerful women are forced towards an inevitable reckoning that will shape history forever.

Performed in concert, this bel canto masterpiece places Donizetti's soaring score vocal writing centre stage. Internationally acclaimed soprano Jessica Pratt brings her celebrated artistry to the title role, under the baton of Richard Mills, in an unforgettable evening of drama and vocal brilliance.
