City of Perth
City of Perth's Opera in the Park brings the community together for a shared operatic performance and has become an iconic WA arts event. Since its inception in 1991, the event has grown to become one of Perth’s largest cultural events, attracting a capacity crowd and enabling community members from all walks of life to participate in cultural life.
Through the power of song and voice WAO aims to reach across social and economic barriers to encourage healthier lives for WA communities. In partnership with Healthway, WAO’s education and community program reaches out across to all corners of the community and the diversity of the program provides opportunities for individuals to connect through the power of the human voice.
