ABOUT THE SHOW
West Australian Opera is proud to present SONGS IN THE QUARRY, a celebration of singing featuring West Australian Opera’s Wesfarmers Arts Singing Class and West Australian Young Voices.
Spend an evening under the stars listening to much-loved opera and musical theatre favourites, including popular hits from My Fair Lady, classic opera choruses from Il trovatore and The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Noongar songs by Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse.
Gather your friends and family, pack a picnic, and enjoy an evening of heartwarming music.

Doors to the Quarry Amphitheatre will open at 6.30pm.

DO I NEED A TICKET?
Yes. This is a paid ticketed event.
- All patrons need to present their tickets upon entry to the Quarry Amphitheatre.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
Parking is available onsite at the Quarry Amphitheatre approximately 200m away from the entry via a gentle paved slope.

There are bus stops along Oceanic Drive that are a short walk (~600m) to the venue.
WHERE CAN I BE DROPPED OFF?
Drop off and pick up is available close to the entry of the auditorium.
IS THERE ANY ACROD PARKING?
The Quarry Amphitheatre has two ACROD parking bays located close to the entrance. Wheelchair spaces are located at the rear of the venue, above the seating tiers. Contact [email protected] for any queries about accessible parking and seating.
WHERE DO I ENTER THE VENUE?
The Quarry Amphitheatre is constructed of tiered lawn terraces and limestone steps. Patrons enter via the rear of the venue and descend down the 14 tiers towards the stage.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
We invite you to dress up (or down). We recommend bringing a jacket in case the weather is cool. As the event is in a bushland setting, we recommend you bring insect repellent and wear long sleeves, long pants and shoes. Bring a jumper or jacket in case of cooler weather and a raincoat or poncho in the event of rain.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS OR IS WINDY?
We try our best to persevere in rain or wind however if the situation is dangerous or uncomfortable for patrons and performers the concert may be cancelled (and cannot be rescheduled). If we are able to continue with the performance please note that the quality of the sound may be affected.

CAN I BUY FOOD ONSITE?

CAN I BRING A CHAIR?
You are welcome to bring a rug, blanket or low concert/beach chair (no wider than 52cm including arm rests).
WHERE ARE THE BATHROOMS LOCATED?
A universal access toilet is located on the east side of the Quarry Amphitheatre’s Limestone Café.
