West Australian Opera announces 2022 Bendat Scholars
West Australian Opera is delighted to announce Bendat Scholarships have been awarded to Wesfarmers Arts Young Artists: sopranos Bella Marslen and Jillian Halleron, conductor Kate McNamara, and bass Jake Bigwood.
As Bendat Scholars, each recipient receives funds to support their development as emerging professionals within the operatic landscape. This support further enriches their ongoing mentorship, coaching, masterclasses, and performance opportunities as Wesfarmers Arts Young Artists.
West Australian Opera thanks the Bendat Family Foundation for their ongoing support and enabling this scholarship each year. Bendat Scholarships have assisted many West Australian artists with further training and brought them closer to realising their dreams.
